In this capacity, she is responsible for administering a variety of services on behalf of patients, including home sleep studies, sleep apnea screening, and educating clients on the use of home sleep equipment, such as CPAP machines. Outside of her role at Blue Ridge, Ms. Cochran also avails herself at a local hospital under the direction of Dr. Ahmad Ibrahimbacha, the facility’s medical director. Previously, she found success as a clinical coordinator and in various roles at the East Tennessee Children’s Hospital Sleep Center and a sleep clinic in Boaz, Alabama.
Eminently qualified to operate in her field, Ms. Cochran earned distinction as the 14th professional worldwide to receive certification as a clinical sleep health educator in 2014, having earned prior designations as a registered sleep technologist and a registered polysomnographic technologist, among other licenses. Furthermore, she is a member of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine. Well-regarded for her accomplishments, she is also proud to have worked at a sleep laboratory that earned recognition as one of the Best of the Best by Respiratory Care Magazine, and to have helped three laboratories obtain proper accreditation.
