Ms. Wright, owner of Wright Solutions LLC in Grandville, Michigan, has been at the helm of her mental health care facility since 2020. Specializing in eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), which is a trauma therapy ideal for a range of conditions like chronic pain, depression, trauma and post-traumatic stress disorder, she also offers dialectical behavior therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TFCBT), and other forms of treatment. Ms. Wright’s role also involves managing administrative tasks such as payroll, communicating with insurance companies, assisting other clinicians, and more. Leveraging her previous expertise, she began her career with D.A. Blodgett – Saint John’s in Greater Grand Rapids, Michigan, as a behavioral specialist in 2018.
In preparation for her career in this sector, Ms. Wright received a Bachelor of Social Work and a Master of Social Work from Grand Valley State University in 2018 and 2019, respectively. In addition to her formal education, she received numerous professional credentials to support her work, including EMDR through PESI, TFCBT through the Children’s Trauma Initiative, and Parent Management Training in the Oregon Model (PMTO). Ms. Wright also remains relevant through her involvement with Children and Adults with Attention-Deficit.
Having launched Wright Solutions LLC during the COVID-19 pandemic to support struggling children, Ms. Wright could adapt to meet clients’ needs while ensuring proper safety protocols were met. Garnering remarkable success, she attributes much of it to hard work and inspiration from her mother, who returned to college and obtained a degree in social work while Ms. Wright was in high school. Eager to continue expanding her practice by acquiring several additional clinicians, she also envisions establishing a refuge for pregnant foster teen girls to reside. Moreover, Ms. Wright desires to complete and publish a book she has been working on.
