With more than 20 years of expertise to her name, Ms. Seldon has excelled as a child advocate with the New Orleans Family Justice Center in New Orleans, Louisiana since 2021. Prior to this appointment, she worked as a Hagar’s House advocate for the First Grace Community Alliance in New Orleans from 2018 to 2021. She previously served as an independent contractor at the Fuller Life Chiropractic Center in Columbus, Georgia from 2015 to 2016. Ms. Seldon began her career as a mailroom associate with First Data in Columbus from 2004 to 2008.

Before embarking on her professional path, Ms. Seldon obtained her certification as a phlebotomist with the First Health Step Agency, which was valid between 1999 and 2007. She subsequently pursued a formal education at the University of Phoenix, from which she earned a Bachelor of Science in psychology in 2015. Ms. Seldon ultimately concluded her studies at the aforementioned university in 2022, having graduated with a Master of Science in psychology.

Beyond her responsibilities within the field, Ms. Seldon has participated in numerous endeavors outside of her professional circles. She has notably contributed to the First Grace United Methodist Baptist Church in New Orleans as an usher since 2018 and a church officer since 2021. Moreover, she has been active in disaster relief with the American National Red Cross from 2012 to 2013 and with a fundraiser through Donorworx in Atlanta, Georgia in 2017. A member of Soka Gakkai International since 2018, Ms. Seldon has found success with her written works as well, having authored “Perception of God Based on Ego Will Lead You Away from God” for Hubpages in 2015 in addition to various spiritual and metaphysical poems and literature for the Xlibris Corporation in 2014.

Ms. Seldon attributes her success to the influence of her charitable great aunt, who would frequently provide food to those in need. Having always wanted to be of assistance to humanity, she hopes to establish a nonprofit organization to help women and children during trying times, including possibly opening a shelter for married couples who have been displaced due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Among the many highlights of her career, she is incredibly proud of teaching children about arts and crafts as well as meditation. Looking toward the future, Ms. Seldon additionally aims to build a home in New Mexico while continuing to thrive in her field.
