Ms. Vogt’s professional journey spans over 15 years and reflects a steadfast commitment to advancing mental health care, trauma therapy and the integration of natural medicine modalities. In 2025, she became the co-founder and clinical director of education and training at NeuroAlchemy in Littleton, Colorado. Ms. Vogt has played a pivotal role in shaping educational standards for practitioners in the emerging field of psychedelic-assisted therapy, serving individuals, couples, groups and practitioners in search of clarity, healing or initiation into this work via psychedelic-assisted services, training and consultation. Her leadership at the natural-medicine healing center builds on her prior achievements as the co-founder and clinical director at The Center Origin in Denver, Colorado, from 2024 to 2025.
At The Center Origin, Ms. Vogt was instrumental in establishing Colorado’s first licensed healing center for natural medicine, a notable professional accomplishment. Over the past five years, she has continued to dedicate her career to promoting and making natural medicine accessible as a transformative healing modality that complements therapy, particularly for trauma and addiction. Ms. Vogt has also contributed to expanding statewide access to natural medicine services and to developing training programs for practitioners.
In addition to her work at NeuroAlchemy, Ms. Vogt has been a Humanly Wellness franchise owner since 2020, fostering a supportive environment for independent mental health and wellness practitioners. Through Humanly Wellness, she provides shared spaces, resources and professional development opportunities, including monthly consultation groups and workshops designed to ease the transition into private practice. Ms. Vogt’s efforts have helped cultivate a collaborative community among practitioners who might otherwise experience isolation.
Furthermore, since 2017, Ms. Vogt has excelled as the founder of SisuWell Counseling LLC, a private practice specializing in trauma, anxiety, depression and addiction counseling. As a licensed professional counselor and licensed addictions counselor, she has dedicated her work to integrating traditional therapy with innovative approaches, such as natural medicine. Ms. Vogt’s passion for bridging cognition and emotion in trauma survivors led her to explore psychedelics as transformative healing tools. She has also actively promoted the accessibility of natural medicine as a complement to therapy, particularly for trauma and addiction, and participated in clinical trials at the University of Colorado Anschutz, supporting cancer patients facing existential distress.
Ms. Vogt’s earlier roles included employment at the Mental Health Center of Denver (MHCD) from 2011 to 2020, beginning as a residential counselor II at Park Place, a crisis stabilization unit and short-term hospital alternative. She then became a clinical case manager II, providing direct care coordination and therapeutic support for individuals referred from the Denver County Jail with complex mental health needs. Ultimately, Ms. Vogt became a licensed access clinician at the MHCD.
Ms. Vogt’s academic background includes a Bachelor of Arts in psychology with an emphasis in forensic psychology from the University of the Pacific in 2009 and a Master of Arts in forensic psychology from the University of Denver in 2012. Her undergraduate work was recognized with the Psychology Research Award from the University of the Pacific in 2009. While in college, Ms. Vogt also completed numerous internships to support her future career in therapy.
In addition to her formal education, Ms. Vogt holds multiple professional credentials, including in animal-assisted therapy. She also became a qualified medication administration person with the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment, a licensed professional counselor with the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies, a licensed addiction counselor with NAADAC, the Association for Addiction Professionals, and a natural medicine clinical facilitator with the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies.
Ms. Vogt maintains active memberships in several industry and civic organizations, including the Colorado Counseling Association, the American Psychedelic Practitioners Association and the National Psychedelic Association. She has also served as a contributor to the Psychedelic Public Policy Partnership since 2023. Previously, Ms. Vogt served as a mental health therapist with Project Homeless Connect from 2014 to 2017.
Throughout her career, Ms. Vogt has been recognized for her thought leadership through featured articles on psychedelics and frequent speaking engagements, including presentations at six conferences in one year alone. Among her publications, she co-authored “Psilocybin Safety Screening Form and Response Tool for Colorado Healing Centers” in 2024, which is now used as a resource throughout the state.
Ms. Vogt’s career reflects a profound dedication to innovation in mental health care, marked by advocacy for integrating natural medicine, a commitment to practitioner education, and enduring service to individuals seeking healing and connection. She credits her success to unwavering adherence to her morals and values, prioritizing the healing of individuals, fostering community connectedness, and maintaining a loving awareness in all interactions. Looking ahead, Ms. Vogt intends to develop an accredited training program in natural medicine therapy focused on mental health and trauma-informed care, combining classroom instruction with practical experience. She is also considering founding a nonprofit organization dedicated to expanding access to these vital services through scholarships and sponsorships for those unable to afford them.
