Based in Fort Worth, Texas, Ms. Young provides patients with alternative, non-invasive health services that include frequency testing, voice frequency testing, ion foot detox spa services, which pulls toxins from the body through the pores of the feet, ear candling therapy with lymphatic drainage to extract debris from the ear canal and alleviates sinus pressure, migraines, headaches and other issues, and biochemical individualism. In addition to managing her thriving business, Ms. Young has been a certified iridologist and health care professional with CUeye2eye since 2000. Her expertise in iridology, a practice she initially approached with skepticism, has become one of her most significant achievements. Ms. Young’s professor initially recognized her swift mastery of the subject, noting her exceptional ability to grasp complex concepts quickly. Notably, iridology is recognized as an alternative medicine technique that focuses on examining patterns, colors and other characteristics of the iris to determine information about a patient’s systemic health.
Ms. Young’s academic journey began at the Florida Institute of Technology in Melbourne, Florida. She also attended Trinity School of Natural Health to become a natural health practitioner. Further, she enhanced her skills at the Institute of the National Association of Certified Natural Health Professionals, where she focused on iridology. In 2014, Ms. Young also became a board-certified functional practitioner of natural health and received certification as an iridologist in 2000. These credentials have enhanced her ability to provide comprehensive care to her clients.
Since 2017, Ms. Young has been involved with Theta Omega Gamma through Florida Institute of Technology. The online fraternity provides resources, support and membership opportunities for both undergraduates and graduates.
In recognition of her academic success, Ms. Young received a Distinguished Scholar Award, reflecting her commitment to scholarly pursuits and intellectual growth. She attributes much of her professional success since that time to the unwavering support of her family. She draws particular inspiration from her late mother’s long and painful battle with type 2 diabetes that resulted in numerous complications, including amputations, vision loss, and ultimately, her passing in 2004 due to diabetes-related issues. Ms. Young began questioning the conventional approach to treatment and, after attending a conference in Chicago in 1995, learned the importance of gut health and colon cleansing. She then chose to follow a career path that would enable her to explore holistic approaches to wellness.
Ms. Young’s personal experiences have also shaped her approach to business and life, instilling in her a deep sense of empathy and understanding for those she serves. Looking ahead, she aims to further develop her business while continuing to support individuals on their health journeys.
