Anslee D. Wilson, Owner at A Helping Hand Home Care, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Healthcare Professionals for dedication, achievements and leadership in the Home Care Services Industry.
Ms. Wilson founded A Helping Hand Home Care in Gainesville, Georgia, in 2011, driven by a desire to provide families with peace of mind and support in managing their loved ones’ care. Under her leadership, the locally owned and operated private home care provider serves all of Northeast Georgia, offering non-medical private home care services 24 hours a day, seven days a week, including medication reminders, meal preparation, transportation and personal hygiene assistance by certified nursing assistants who are extensively trained, licensed, bonded, insured and background-checked to ensure high-quality care.
In addition to delivering care to clients in their homes, the team at A Helping Hand Home Care also visits assisted living and independent living settings, hospitals and rehabilitation facilities. The company serves approximately 40 clients at a time and provides post-surgery support, hospice services and extra assistance for individuals with dementia, Alzheimer’s or Parkinson’s disease.
Among her many responsibilities as an entrepreneur, Ms. Wilson is tasked with meeting with referral partners, overseeing marketing and managing the company’s image, collaborating with her director of operations to delegate daily management and operations, and engaging with the families to thoroughly understand their needs and provide support. Additionally, she focuses on establishing community connections and building networks for long-term growth. Notably, Ms. Wilson’s commitment to innovation is evident in her investment in Sensi, an artificial intelligence-driven system that enhances client safety and health monitoring.
Leveraging the valuable skills in client relations and business management that she has acquired in real estate, Ms. Wilson seamlessly established herself in her current role. Despite having no prior experience in the medical field, she successfully launched A Helping Hand Home Care by hiring a nurse and securing a small loan.
A real estate agent with Keller Williams Realty Gainesville Partners in Georgia since 1995, Ms. Wilson continues to make an impact in the field more than 30 years later. As part of the award-winning real estate agency, she provides her expertise to clients, helping them buy and sell residential properties and achieve their real estate goals.
Ms. Wilson’s educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in family and consumer science from the University of Georgia, completed in 1993. This academic foundation has been instrumental in her ability to understand family dynamics and provide effective care solutions. Additionally, Ms. Wilson has maintained an active real estate license in the state of Georgia since 1995.
Aside from her work-related endeavors, Ms. Wilson’s dedication extends to actively participating in industry-related organizations, such as the Georgia Association of Community Care Providers and the Home Care Association of America. In addition to her professional affiliations, she is civically engaged with organizations like Go Red For Women and WomenSource. Giving back to her local community remains central to Ms. Wilson, as she derives a great sense of joy in giving back.
A professional journey marked by numerous accolades, Ms. Wilson received the Best of Hall County: Best in Elder Care Services from the Gainesville Times. She also won multiple awards from HomeCare Pulse for excellence in service provision.
Ms. Wilson’s expertise in family stress support and care coordination has not only benefited countless families but also solidified her reputation as a leader in the home care industry. Grateful for the support of her family, her husband actively assists with client transportation while her daughter contributes to daily operations. Looking ahead, Ms. Wilson aims to expand her company’s services and potentially open additional locations while pursuing certification as a Veterans Affairs provider. Ultimately, her vision for A Helping Hand Home Care is to become the leading provider in the area, ensuring that families can focus on being supportive rather than primary caregivers.
