Kiera K. Sullivan, MS, RDN, founder and chief executive officer of Kiera Sullivan Nutrition LLC, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Health Care Professionals for dedication, achievements, and leadership in health and wellness.

Inspired by the healthy lifestyle modeled by her parents, as well as her own performance as an athlete in high school, Ms. Sullivan grew passionate about nutrition and the role it plays in keeping people healthy from a young age. After starting her professional life with roles as a retail sales associate with Glassybaby and a summer camp counselor and instructor with Kenilworth Stables LLC, she embraced her interest in fitness, becoming a certified personal trainer at Purdue University in 2016. From there, Ms. Sullivan began a four-year tenure at Stanford Health Care, joining the institution as an inpatient float clinical dietitian I, and later taking on the responsibilities of inpatient clinical dietitian II in the cardiology and critical care units. In 2024, she made the momentous choice to leave Stanford in order to focus on Kiera Sullivan Nutrition LLC, a company she founded in 2023 and where she currently serves as chief executive officer.

Through Kiera Sullivan Nutrition LLC, Ms. Sullivan provides one-on-one nutritional counseling, with a particular focus on helping clients with medical issues such as autoimmune diseases or chronic conditions who have not found success through traditional medicine. While she is based in New York, she offers her services nationwide through telephone and video consultations. Additionally, Ms. Sullivan regularly performs speaking engagements, including providing insight as a guest lecturer at Stanford University’s School of Medicine and San Jose State University. She also offers mentorship and consultation to nutrition students, dietitians and other health care professionals.

Ms. Sullivan’s career trajectory has been supported by her academic journey, including internships at Vitaliti Wellness Inc., Nutrition53, Bon Appétit, and the University of California, San Francisco Medical Center. She obtained a Bachelor of Science in dietetics at Purdue University in 2018, followed by completing a dietetic internship at Rush University Medical Center. Subsequently, Ms. Sullivan earned a Master of Science in dietetics and clinical nutrition services from Rush University in 2020. She has further built her credentials with certifications in CPR and automated external defibrillators from the American Heart Association Inc. first aid from the same organization, personal training from the American Council on Exercise, mental health first aid from the National Council for Mental Wellbeing, and ServSafe food and beverage safety training from the National Restaurant Association. Ms. Sullivan has been a registered dietitian and nutritionist through the Commission on Dietetic Registration since 2020, a certified nutrition support clinician through the American Society for Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition since 2021, and a certified dietitian and nutritionist through the New York State Education Department since 2024.

Well-noted for her achievements in the field, Ms. Sullivan was inducted into the Phi Mu Fraternity Academic Honors Society in 2014 and The Society for Collegiate Leadership and Achievement in 2015. While studying for her master’s degree, she was selected as the only graduate student in the nutrition program to attend an interdisciplinary medical service trip to the Dominican Republic. Ms. Sullivan stays updated on the latest news and trends in her professional sphere through membership in such organizations as the Integrative and Functional Nutrition Academy, the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, and The Nutrition Society. She credits her strong passion for nutrition and the support of her family for her success.

Dedicated to civic advocacy above and beyond her primary vocation, Ms. Sullivan volunteered and attended multiple service trips with Piedmont Community Church. While at Purdue University, she contributed as a panel board member for the Purdue Standards Board and a riding and showing member for the Purdue Equestrian Team. Ms. Sullivan later did meal prep and distribution and in 2015 was a founding member of Purdue Student Health Advocates.

Outside of her professional life, Ms. Sullivan enjoys traveling, trying new foods, cooking, baking, hiking, learning history, and attending live music. Looking ahead, she has ambitious plans to continue expanding Kiera Sullivan Nutrition LLC. Ms. Sullivan hopes to bring other dietitians on as employees, improving the organization’s ability to provide comprehensive nutrition counseling. She also plans to open a physical office location in the near future.
