Sadigoh C. Galloway, BSW, MSW, LSW, LICDC-CS, SAP, ICGC-II, chief executive officer at Your Recovery Counseling, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Healthcare Professionals for dedication, achievements, and leadership in mental health.
With over a decade and a half of experience, Ms. Galloway has built a successful career in mental health. She currently serves as chief executive officer of Your Recovery Counseling, a role she has held since 2022. In this capacity, she executes strategic agendas, strengthens the organization’s financial health, and is engaged with policy development and the overall financial well-being of the organization. She also manages a team of 10 to 12 staff members and supervises several interns from prominent universities. Her experience also includes roles as clinical specialist at Recovery Centers of America from 2021 to 2022, program manager of the MLink Driver Intervention Program at Lake-Geauga Recovery Centers from 2020 to 2022, and residential treatment supervisor at Lake-Geauga Recovery Centers from 2018 to 2021. She also served as clinical supervisor at Turning Point and Terrence Kelleman Counseling from 2016 to 2019 and as a licensed social worker and licensed chemical dependency counselor III at Catholic Charities, Diocese of Cleveland, from 2012 to 2018.
Ms. Galloway also dedicates her time to serving as a board member for the Cuyahoga County Alcohol, Drug, and Mental Health Services Board and the Beachwood Chamber of Commerce and previously interned with the F.I.R.S.T. Cuyahoga County Program from 2016 to 2018. She also contributes to the Maltz Museum, the National Alliance on Mental Illness, and the Ohio Society of Addiction Medicine, and donates and volunteers with the Mental Health & Addiction Advocacy Coalition, Case Western Reserve University Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences, and Voices of Injustice. Additionally, she is a member of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority Inc., the International Society of Female Professionals, Phi Theta Kappa, and the Mental Health & Addiction Advocacy Coalition.
Laying a solid educational foundation, Ms. Galloway earned an Associate of Arts from Cuyahoga Community College in 2013, as well as an Associate of Applied Science in human services from the same institution that year. She went on to complete a Bachelor of Social Work from Cleveland State University in 2015, a Master of Social Work from Cleveland State University in 2018 and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Human Services in organizational leadership and management at Capella University. She holds licensure as a social worker through the Ohio Counselor, Social Work, and Marriage and Family Board, as well as licensure as an independent chemical dependency counselor with clinical supervisor status through the Ohio Chemical Dependency Professionals Board. Her certifications include international certified gambling counselor, substance abuse professional, and international certification and reciprocity consortium credentials.
Ms. Galloway specializes in therapy, policy development for licensed community behavioral health organizations, and advocating for effective health and human services. Her expertise includes serving on boards approving budgets over $500 million, engaging with diverse populations to address societal marginalization, and providing clinical interventions for behavior modification. In light of her impressive undertakings, she was honored by the Business Hall of Fame in Beachwood, Ohio, in 2024 and was a recipient of the Beachwood Spirit of Success Award in 2023. She credits her success to the support of her family and mentors, as well as her adaptability in embracing both teaching and learning roles. Looking to the future, she plans to expand her services into three additional counties in Ohio and two other states.
