Workers Health Solutions LLC specializes in worksite physical and occupational therapy. They offer national corporate wellness and biometric services, focusing on injury prevention and rehabilitation using a sports medicine approach. Their services include worksite therapy, disability management, and occupational rehab. Additionally, he has worked in clinical review as a case management specialist for musculoskeletal medicine at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center from 2021 to 2023, a project manager of occupational therapy for the Holzer Health System from 2017 to 2020, an administrator of occupational health, sports medicine, and rehab at Holzer Health System from 1986 to 1995, and a nurse practitioner at the same company since 1976.
Laying a solid foundation for his career, Mr. Betz pursued a degree at Ohio University, earning a Bachelor of Science in registered nursing in 1981. He went on to earn a Master of Science in exercise physiology from the same institution in 1986, followed by a mini residency in occupational medicine and environmental health at the University of Cincinnati. Additionally, he is a certified occupational health professional and specialist by the National Association of Occupational Health Professionals, a certified disability management specialist, a certified transitional work grant developer, and a certified vocational rehab case manager. Reflecting on his career, he was initially going to go into physical therapy, so he decided to take the first step and attend nursing school. He spent his first almost 10 years as a family nurse practitioner in a multi-specialty group practice before entering the management side of the practice. Having a strong desire to run his own practice, he set out to develop Workers Health Solutions LLC. Looking ahead, he is dedicated to initiating, implementing, and managing his integrated health and wellness services, focusing on customer care.
