Before this position, he was active as a limited license professional counselor with Fusion Consulting Mental Health Services in 2020, a limited license professional counselor with WillowsEdge Counseling and Healing Arts Center from 2019 to 2020, a vocational evaluation specialist with Excel Employment Options in 2018, and a temporary limited license psychologist and therapist with Saginaw Psychological Services from 2016 to 2018. During this time, he additionally served in the classroom as an adjunct professor at Concordia University Ann Arbor and an adjunct faculty member at Jackson College between 2018 and 2019. Developing sharp listening skills during his formative years, Mr. Eilers initially pursued an education at Spring Arbor University, from which he earned a Bachelor of Arts in psychology in 2011. He subsequently concluded his studies at Moody Theological Seminary in 2015, graduating with Master of Arts in counseling psychology. In recent years, he obtained his certifications as a professional life coach from The American Association of Christian Counselors, as a supervisor for limited licensed counselors, and began his entrepreneurial journey in 2025 helping support individuals and businesses through mental wellness coaching and community group support.
