From there, she served as a mental health counselor at Golden Living Mental Health Facility. Her dedication to mental health rehabilitation continued as she assumed the position of mental health rehabilitation specialist at Momentum from 2013 to 2022. She is dedicated to addressing mental health challenges, focusing on providing hope and support to those who are struggling. Her organization, ME Art Collection, serves as a creative outlet for individuals to express their emotions and cope with difficult experiences, exemplifying her innovative approach to mental health advocacy.

In addition to her clinical work, Ms. Purdie-Harvey has made significant contributions as an adjunct professor at Gavilan Community College from 2008 to 2009.
