Marshall Kirkpatrick, owner, licensed professional counselor, and forensic evaluator with Kirkpatrick & Associates LLC, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Health Care Professionals for dedication, achievements, and leadership in the field of psychology.

Mr. Kirkpatrick leverages nearly three decades of experience as a proven expert in the fields of mental health care and social services. Well-versed in various principles of psychology and specializing in risk assessment, mental health evaluation, and patient treatment, he currently excels as the owner of Kirkpatrick & Associates LLC in Appleton, Wisconsin. He began his private enterprise in 2016, having previously served in a similar leadership capacity at Kirkpatrick & Associates Counseling from 2007 to 2015. Throughout his time in the field, Mr. Kirkpatrick has focused on assisting victims of sexual abuse and violence, in addition to providing evaluations and treatments for sexually violent persons.

Mr. Kirkpatrick’s current business operations are well-regarded for providing critical care and assistance to individuals in various communities throughout the state of Wisconsin. Prior to beginning his own business ventures, he operated as a sex offender treatment provider at Lang Taylor & Associates from 2004 to 2007. At the onset of his career, he also worked as a forensic therapist for the Washington State Department of Social and Health Services from 2001 to 2007. Adjacent to his primary professional interests, Mr. Kirkpatrick also regularly participates as a professional disc golfer.

Ever committed to his profession, Mr. Kirkpatrick remains affiliated with several pertinent organizations. To wit, he is a diplomat in the National Association of Forensic Counselors and a fellow of the Wisconsin chapter of the Association for the Treatment and Prevention of Sexual Abuse (ATSA). Furthermore, he is counted as a member of the American Counseling Association. As part of his vocational journey, Mr. Kirkpatrick also cultivated his higher education, originally earning an Associate of Applied Science in liberal arts and science at Pierce College in 1998 before obtaining a Bachelor of Science in community health and chemical dependency with a minor in psychology at Central Washington University in 1999. He would ultimately graduate from Chapman University with a Master of Arts in psychology and counseling in 2005.

In his adjacent civic-minded efforts, Mr. Kirkpatrick donates his time to teaching children how to play disc golf with a local home school organization. In recent years, he has discovered the benefits of disc golf play therapy, which has proven effective in helping trauma victims alleviate their pain. Looking to the future, Mr. Kirkpatrick hopes to continue improving and further implementing such efforts, as in many cases, this form of therapy seems preferable to having his patients reliving their traumas. In light of his fulfilling career, he has otherwise attributed his success to his motivation and determination to make a difference.
