With more than three decades of experience to her credit, Ms. Dennis has cultivated a fulfilling career in the health care industry. Specializing in mental health care and therapeutic recovery, she has served as the director of clinical programming and as a managing counselor at Ryse Therapy in Phoenix, Arizona, since 2022. As a leader within her organization, she focuses many of her efforts on aiding clients by providing substance abuse and mental health counseling and consulting services. Additionally, Ms. Dennis excels as a life coach, behavioral health care provider, educator and community advocate.

Adjacent to her primary duties in the field, Ms. Dennis has similarly excelled as the chief executive officer and head life coach of The Donald P. Dennis Foundation Inc. since 2020, where she also began serving as a consultant in 2022. The foundation is well-regarded in the community for providing crucial services and resources to those in need and helping them find success in their respective endeavors. Ever committed to her profession, Ms. Dennis also recently joined the National Association of Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Counselors in 2023, and she has remained active within the American Counseling Association since 2020.

Ms. Dennis originally began her professional career in 2008, working with the recovery and release program at the Hiwassee Mental Health Center as an adult case manager between 2008 and 2009. Before embarking on her vocational journey, she pursued a formal education, studying at Purdue University Global and earning both a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in criminal justice in 2007. She would continue her studies at the institution and later achieve a Master of Science in general psychology in 2013. Ms. Dennis also honorably served in the United States Navy from 1994 to 1999, notably holding positions as a supply petty officer, presidential honor guard and legal secretary during that time and creating a new training program for her division.

To commemorate her accomplishments, Ms. Dennis was previously honored with six military medals. Alongside her primary achievements, she is also proud of her work as an independent, amateur photographer, an endeavor she has remained engaged in since 2003. In light of her fulfilling career, she has largely attributed her success to her eagerness to learn and her open-minded attitude. In the coming years, Ms. Dennis hopes to earn a doctoral degree in forensic psychology while also continuing her work in the field.
