Michelle Jo Pribble, nuclear medicine technologist at the Naval Medical Center San Diego, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Health Care Professionals for dedication, achievements, and leadership in the health care industry.
With over 25 years of experience to her credit, Ms. Pribble is a proven expert in the field of medicine. Since 1996, she has specialized as a certified nuclear medicine technologist (CNMT) at the Naval Medical Center San Diego, having also previously honorably served in the United States Navy for 20 years. In 2006, she took on a similar role at the Rady Children’s Hospital-San Diego. As part of her dedication to the health care industry, Ms. Pribble also remains affiliated with several noteworthy organizations, including the Society of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging, the Klippel-Trenaunay Foundation and The Sturge-Weber Foundation.
As part of her vocational journey, Ms. Pribble pursued a higher education, attending the Naval School of Health Sciences and receiving her nuclear medicine certification in 2004. She also operated as a hospital corpsman at the institution. To commemorate her accomplishments in the field, she was honored with several Letters of Appreciation, a Commendation Medal and a Meritorious Unit Medal. In light of her fulfilling career, Ms. Pribble attributes much of her success to her time serving in the military, which proved to be a largely positive influence in her life. She is notably proud of her efforts to encourage software companies that manage electronic health record systems to track patients who have been treated with radioactive materials in order to enhance a radiation safety environment for staff members. Looking to the future, Ms. Pribble aims to broaden her understanding and continue branching out into new sectors of nuclear medicine.
