Omar Stiefer, Operator at Brookdale Senior Living Inc., has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Health Care Professionals for dedication, achievements, and leadership in assisted living.
Since 2004, Mr. Stiefer has been an operator with Brookdale Senior Living Inc., a senior living and retirement community company that is the largest operator of senior living in the United States. Prior to this post, he was the president of operations with the company from 2003 to 2018. Mr. Stiefer is an ordained chaplain with Cowboys for Christ International, a position he has held since 2018. From 1980 to 2016, he was a professional singer and songwriter with Omar Stiefer Ministries. He is also a former country artist.
Some of Mr. Stiefer’s published musical works include an album, “Second Chances,” and a song, “Cowboy For Christ,” with Tyler Voice Publishing. During his musical career, he performed on the Grand Ole Opry Stage at the Ryman Auditorium in 1999. He was nominated for both Song of the Year and Video of the Year in 1999 by the Canadian Country Music Association. Mr. Stiefer is a member of the Assisted Living Association and enjoys fishing in his spare time. He has formed his own nonprofit organization, and in the coming years, he aims to open his own senior living community, which will be called ASHIERA: Affordable Senior Housing in Rural America.
