With more than 25 years of experience to his credit, Dr. Jones has excelled as the owner of DiVinion as well as the medical director and owner of Hopeful Healing since 2011. Moreover, he has been active as a practicing physician since 1999. Dr. Jones formerly served as the medical director for Discovery House in Utah between 2009 and 2011.
To better support his professional efforts, Dr. Jones pursued an education at the Ross University School of Medicine, from which he earned a Doctor of Medicine in 1999. Planning to become an anesthesiologist, he completed a residency in anesthesiology at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in 2004 and became licensed to practice medicine in Utah in 2006. After suffering an injury and overcoming his struggles with opiates over several years, which sidelined his personal and professional ambitions, Dr. Jones shifted his attention to natural medicine, prayer, fasting and meditation, and devoted his work toward helping others in his community with their battles with opiate addiction.
Beyond his primary responsibilities, Dr. Jones has participated in numerous endeavors outside of his field. As a volunteer physician, he has contributed to aiding those within indigenous tribes throughout the Western U.S., including Shoshone, Blackfeet, Ibapah, Goshute, Paiute, Navajo and Hopi. He is also affiliated with the American Society of Addiction Medicine and the Golden Key International Honour Society. Furthermore, Dr. Jones has worked as a cannabis prescriber in Utah as an ardent advocate for plant-based medicine.
In light of his exceptional undertakings, Dr. Jones has accrued several accolades throughout his impressive career. In 2022, he was recognized as a Top Physician in Utah and an Honored Member of the National Registries Top Doctors of America: Honors Edition, which he cites as the highlight of his career. Looking toward the future, Dr. Jones hopes to continue practicing medicine to help make a difference in the lives of others across the globe.
