Mr. Harty obtained a bachelor’s degree in 2000 and a master’s degree in 2002 in physician assistant studies from the University of St. Francis in Joliet, Illinois. As a physician assistant with OrthoIndy Northwest in Indianapolis, she is licensed to diagnose and treat illness and disease and to prescribe medication for patients, working in physician offices, hospitals and clinics in collaboration with a licensed physician. In addition, Ms. Harty has prospered as a medical technologist and athletic trainer.
Ms. Harty attributes her success to her strong faith, keeping herself focused, and most importantly always putting God first in her life. Over the years that she has gained all her knowledge, what she considers as her biggest accomplishment is being able to give back to their community, and to the people who really want to learn and grow in their profession. Ms. Harty’s goal in the coming years would be to go on and earn her doctorate.
