After working as a cake decorator for Meijers, the grocery supercenter headquartered in Michigan, Ms. McClurg then prospered as a consumer energy contract worker for Motorola before entering real estate. She decided to enter healthcare after contracting and recovering from breast cancer in 2000 and provide superior care in hospice work and grief counseling with Oaklawn Hospital in Marshall. She is hoping to continue working in hospice care as long as possible.
