Mr. Reynolds became a registered nurse in 1996 and has provided health care services in the field since then. He is certified in basic life support, advanced cardiovascular life support and medical-surgical nursing. Additionally, Mr. Reynolds is certified in water treatment in nephrology.

As a unit director and the director of dialysis and hemodialysis at St. Francis Hospital, Mr. Reynolds engages in a series of tasks. He supervises medical-surgical renal, chemotherapy and stroke nursing, as well as handles hiring, staffing, payroll, human resources and evaluations. Additionally, Mr. Reynolds lends his expertise in ensuring that staff members remain accredited, while also training, preempting for students pursuing a Bachelor of Science in nursing and managing clinical duties. He also has a hand in educating patients and families, and does this while managing contract nurses as the director of dialysis and hemodialysis. An account of his work responsibilities would be incomplete without mentioning his role in negotiating, managing nurse files and lab equipment, managing programs, ensuring equipment and water safety and hiring nurse subcontractors.
