In this position, she conducts patient evaluations and administers treatment. Her patients include athletes and those with active lifestyles, and she assists them in post-operative recovery, restoring function and mobility, and improving movement mechanics. Prior to this position, Dr. Reilly spent three years with The Human Performance Laboratory.
In preparation for her career, Dr. Reilly attended the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor, graduating with a master’s degree in exercise physiology. In 2017, she earned a doctorate in physical therapy from the same institution. She holds numerous professional certifications in addition to her formal degrees, including an Orthopedic Specialist Certification, Advanced Burn Life Support certification, Dry Needling Certification and Blood Flow Restriction Certification. Dr. Reilly is also a USA Weightlifting Certified Coach.
Dr. Reilly’s career trajectory began in her upbringing, as her family is involved in the health care field. She was drawn to physical therapy because of the one-on-one time with patients, as she enjoys building relationships with the people she treats. In addition, Dr. Reilly was influenced by her background as an athlete.
To keep abreast of her field, Dr. Reilly maintains affiliation with the American Physical Therapy Association. In the future, she hopes to continue building the DHR Health Orthopedic and Sports Therapy Institute and offer the highest standard of care to patients. Dr. Reilly is proud to treat a relatively underserved community and enjoys teaching the next generation of physical therapists. She enjoys exercising and staying active in her spare time.
