Dr. Queshaun S. Sudbury, board member of the Phyletic Research Group Corporation, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Health Care Professionals for dedication, achievements, and leadership in the field of ecological psychology.
Dr. Sudbury is a proven expert in the health care industry, bolstered by more than two decades of experience. Since 2001, he has excelled as a board member and chair for the Phyletic Research Group Corporation, which is committed to discovering new breakthroughs in various medical disciplines. Additionally, since 2021, Dr. Sudbury has excelled as psychiatric nurse practitioner at a children’s hospital in Mississippi. Prior to his recent endeavors, he worked as a registered nurse for several other organizations, including the United States Department of Veterans Affairs, the Mississippi State Hospital and the East Mississippi State Hospital.
Throughout his time in the field, Dr. Sudbury has remained well-versed in ecological psychology, focusing on various organisms in their natural environment. Likewise, he is skilled in medical engineering and nursing, and he has always staunchly advocated for new, scientific approaches in his field. Many of his responsibilities pertain to inpatient care and psychiatric services, such as conducting individual and group sessions of psychotherapy. Furthermore, Dr. Sudbury regularly conducts research and environmental reviews as part of his core duties in the field, much of which can be found in scholarly publications.
Before embarking on his vocational journey, Dr. Sudbury pursued a formal education, originally earning a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering at Northwestern University in 1988. Furthermore, he earned a Master of Science in energy management at the New York Institute of Technology in 1997. He subsequently continued his studies during his time in the field, attending The University of Southern Mississippi College of Nursing and Health Professions and receiving a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2014. In conclusion of his collegiate endeavors, Dr. Sudbury achieved a Doctor of Nursing Practice at LSU Health in 2020. In addition to his academic credentials, he is fully certified as a case manager, a psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner, and a practical nurse.
In light of his fulfilling career, Dr. Sudbury has largely attributed his success to his passion for his profession, as well as his confidence and belief in his own abilities. Accounting for his accomplishments, he is notably proud to have founded the Phyletic Research Group Corporation, which enabled him to ideally utilize his skills and experience in environmental engineering and psychiatric clinical work. In the coming years, Dr. Sudbury hopes to continue building new networks and connections within his industry, as well as contribute further to the medical and scientific communities.
