He also worked for Care Professional Counseling, providing counseling services for individuals and families facing diverse challenges. Moreover, Mr. Henson was the director of inpatient psychiatric treatment and the substance abuse program at Rapha Psychiatric Treatment in Georgia beginning in 1992, after serving as a chaplain for the organization from 1990 to 1992.
Mr. Henson’s education culminated in a Master of Divinity in behavioral sciences from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas, in 1989. This advanced degree provided him with foundational knowledge that has informed his approach throughout his career. He is a certified addiction counselor recognized by the State of Georgia, a licensed marriage and family therapist through the Texas Behavioral Health Executive Committee, is credentialed as a marriage and family counselor by the Office of the Texas Secretary of State, a certified crisis corporate interventionist, and a certified corporate coach.
Active professionally, Mr. Henson maintains membership in several professional organizations, including The Woodlands Mental Health Professionals, the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy, and Mosaics of Mercy. He also authored his first book, titled “How to Live a Vibrant Life,” via Spark Leaf Publishing in 2025, designed to guide students toward positive life choices.
