Mr. Louks, assistant vice president of facilities at Unity Health, has been at the helm of his position for over 25 years. Since 1999, he has served his role with integrity and has maintained an open-door policy for all employees. More than an administrator, he has been a mentor and support system who has always welcomed individuals who come to discuss whatever challenges they might be facing. Fortunate to have earned the position after receiving the guidance of his former administrator, who has since retired, Mr. Louks intends to remain on board for as long as he is blessed to do so.
Leveraging his abundance of expertise, Mr. Louks is a well-rounded individual who excels in maintenance engineering, biomedical services and security services. His current position also has the potential for advancement to the position of director of the engineering department in the future. Based in Searcy, Arkansas, Unity Health is recognized as a health care system comprising three hospitals, over a dozen family practice clinics and specialty clinics with 15 areas of practice, including cardiology, orthopedic and spine care, and inpatient and outpatient behavioral health. The organization also retains over 200 physicians and resident physicians specializing in various areas of medicine.
Besides his primary work obligations, Mr. Louks is an active member of Arkansas State Health Engineering, which allows him to remain abreast of industry trends and network with like-minded professors. He also enjoys giving back to his community in various ways, namely as a deacon and Sunday school teacher at his parish. In 2009, Mr. Louks was honored to receive an Outstanding Service Award from Unity Health for his hard work and diligence. When he eventually retires, he hopes to be remembered not just as a manager but also as someone who genuinely enjoyed the work and the many individuals who made it so remarkable.
