Ms. Trosch has also contributed to the field through research, co-authoring an article in the American Journal of Infection Control titled “The effects of a novel, continuous disinfectant technology on MRSA, fungi, and aerobic bacteria in two separate Intensive Care Units in two different states: an experimental design with observed impact on healthcare-associated infections (HAIs)” in 2024, which she considers her most significant career accomplishment. This also marked a pivotal moment for AP Sciences Group, as it was the organization’s first entry into this prestigious journal. Within less than a year of joining the team, she dedicated herself to refining the research and collaborating closely with colleagues, which drove the project to completion. She also dedicates her time as an active member of the Association for Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology, an organization dedicated to advancing infection prevention and control through education, advocacy, and the development of evidence-based practices, the Biomedical Engineering Society, which promotes the advancement of biomedical engineering through education, research, and professional development, and the Society of Women Engineers, which empowers women to achieve their full potential in engineering and leadership through advocacy, education, and professional development.
Ms. Trosch attributes her success to the unwavering support of God and the strong foundation provided by her family. Additionally, her parents have been steadfast allies, encouraging her to pursue her dreams and offering guidance and motivation in all her endeavors.
