Having excelled in her career, Ms. Margosian initially found success as a student at Saint Vincent College, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology in 2003. She subsequently obtained a Master of Science in professional counseling specializing in addictions from Carlow University in 2013. In 2016, she furthered her education by completing post-master’s coursework in community mental health counseling at Indiana Wesleyan University (IWU) National and Global. She was also licensed as a mental health counselor in 2017.
Offering advice to the next generation of mental health professionals, Ms. Margosian suggests seeking advice and assistance from other counselors and therapists to build a network where they can share resources with their colleagues. Through her work with Better Help, she has created a pathway to access resources for coworkers new to Better Help or similar platforms. She further participates as a member of the American Counseling Association.
In the coming years, Ms. Margosian intends to create additional opportunities for patients to access mental health counseling regardless of financial status or other limitations. She is working to grow her practice to provide more accessibility by initiating a podcast in order to educate people on the benefits of mental health services. She was an active member of the Girl Scouts of America throughout her formative years and earned both the Gold and Silver awards while also being recognized as an Outstanding Girl Scout of the Year by her council.
