He began his career as a licensed practical nurse at the American University of Beirut Medical Center from 2000 to 2005, and then as a registered nurse in the cardiovascular intensive care unit at same from 2005 to 2006. He continued his career as a registered nurse in the cardiovascular intensive care unit at Memorial Hermann Healthcare System from 2007 to 2009. As a registered nurse in the intensive care unit, he established himself at Georgetown University Hospital from 2007 to 2008, the Harbor–UCLA Medical Center in 2008, the Methodist Hospital System in 2011, Mountain View Hospital from 2011 to 2012, and the St. Rose Dominican Hospital from 2011 to 2014.
Mr. Harwiche garnered a stellar reputation as a nursing supervisor at Acuity Hospital of Houston from 2009 to 2011 and at Triumph Healthcare in 2011. He served as president at Sin City Auto Clinic, LLC from 2011 to 2014 and as president and chief executive officer at Sin City Auto Rentals from 2013 to 2014. He was appointed to the role of patient care coordinator at Dignity Health in 2014 before transitioning to Hoag Hospital as a critical care registered nurse from 2014 to 2018.
Before embarking on his professional path, Mr. Harwiche pursued an education at the American University of Beirut where he studied to become a licensed practical nurse from 1999 to 2000 and earned a bachelor’s degree in registered nursing in 2005. He concluded his academic efforts at Walden University, graduating with a master’s degree in nursing in 2018 and then receiving his board certification as an adult and geriatric primary care nurse practitioner. He holds certifications in advanced cardiovascular life support, basic life support, continuous veno-venous hemodialysis, intra-aortic balloon pumping, and pediatric advanced life support.
In addition to his primary vocation, Mr. Harwiche remains affiliated with various organizations in relation to his areas of expertise. He was a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and the California Association for Nurse Practitioners. In light of his impressive undertakings, he has accrued several accolades throughout his career. He and his company received the Best of Newport Beach Award in 2023.
