Dr. Colineri has established herself in hospital operations and nursing leadership, with nearly two decades of progressive responsibility and impact across major health care systems in New Jersey. Since 2021, she has served as the chief nursing officer at JFK University Medical Center, a Hackensack Meridian Health facility, overseeing all aspects of nursing care delivery. Her responsibilities include managing the behavioral health section, supervising pharmacy operations, and directing the Harold B. and Dorothy A. Snyder School of Nursing. Dr. Colineri also leads medical imaging services, including radiography and sonography, monitors patient admissions and discharges, and ensures safe transitions to subacute or long-term care settings.

A hallmark of Dr. Colineri’s tenure at JFK University Medical Center has been her successful leadership in securing the Magnet designation from the American Nurses Credentialing Center. This prestigious recognition, awarded to a select group of hospitals nationwide, reflects a commitment to the highest standards of nursing excellence and patient care. Dr. Colineri was instrumental in drafting the necessary documentation and meeting rigorous criteria for this achievement, which not only elevated the hospital’s reputation but also highlighted the dedication and skill of its nursing team. Her efforts have fostered a culture of high-quality patient care and underscored her belief that the essence of nursing lies in compassionate service.

Before joining JFK University Medical Center, Dr. Colineri was a senior vice president and chief nursing officer at RWJBarnabas Health from 2014 to 2021. In this capacity, she provided executive oversight for nursing operations across a large health system, standardizing practices with other chief nursing officers and collaborating on strategic initiatives with network partners. Dr. Colineri’s leadership contributed to improved patient outcomes and operational efficiencies throughout the organization.

Dr. Colineri’s earlier roles included serving as a senior vice president and chief nursing officer at Robert Wood Johnson Health System. She also served as a vice president and chief nurse executive at Hackensack Meridian Health, Inc.

In preparation for her distinguished career in the health care sector, Dr. Colineri completed undergraduate work, followed by a Doctor of Nursing Practice from Monmouth University in West Long Branch, New Jersey, in 2015. This advanced degree has been foundational to her approach in integrating research-driven practices into clinical settings and fostering professional development among her teams. Dr. Colineri earned Lean Six Sigma green belt certification from GE and the prestigious nurse executive advanced board-certified credential from the American Nurses Credentialing Center.

Beyond her professional responsibilities, Dr. Colineri is actively engaged in civic organizations dedicated to advancing health care outcomes. Most notably, she is affiliated with the American Heart Association, where she serves on its executive leadership team and previously chaired its New Jersey board.

Dr. Colineri’s contributions have been recognized with several prestigious awards, including a Diva and Don Award from the New Jersey State Nurses Association in 2015, an Excellence in Global Nursing Leadership and Empowerment Award in 2016, a Richard Hader Visionary Leader Award from Nursing Management in 2017, and a Legacy Award from the Philippine Nurses Association of New Jersey in 2023. More recently, Dr. Colineri was honored with a Nurse Recognition Award from the New Jersey League for Nursing in 2025.

Throughout her career, Dr. Colineri has been inspired by exemplary leaders who have shaped her authentic and transformational leadership style. She attributes her achievements to a deep passion for nursing, resilience, authenticity and an unwavering commitment to selfless service.
