Company: Ask Coach Roger
Location: Statesville, North Carolina, United States
Roger Bejcek, certified health coach at Ask Coach Roger, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Healthcare Professionals for dedication, achievements and leadership in health coaching.
Currently semi-retired, Mr. Bejcek has been recognized for his dynamic career and commitment to health coaching, entrepreneurship and community service. He is branded as “Ask Coach Roger: Your Live Younger, Longer Health Coach,” focusing on inspiring individuals, particularly those in their 30s, to make a difference and take charge of their health. Through his workshops and podcast, “Ask Coach Roger,” he emphasizes four pillars: opening your internal pharmacy, living healthier, eliminating waste, and living without pain and inflammation.
Since 2014, Mr. Bejcek has excelled as a certified L.E.A.N. health coach with Ask Coach Roger. In this capacity, he networks through various sales programs, plans outreach initiatives and motivates others to pursue wellness. Mr. Bejcek also manages the development of his podcast and leads workshops designed to improve health outcomes for adults.
Mr. Bejcek has found further success as a franchisee with the Juice Plus+ Company since 2008. Initially hesitant about joining the organization, he was influenced by Dr. William Sears, a prominent pediatrician and spokesperson for Juice Plus+, who introduced him to the Dr. Sears’ Wellness Institute’s health coach certification program. Upon completing this program in 2014, Mr. Bejcek fully embraced his role as a health coach, considering it his true calling. He is proud of overcoming setbacks throughout his journey and credits his resilience as one of his greatest achievements.
From 2007 to 2010, Mr. Bejcek held the position of vice president of business development at Statesville Roofing & Building Restoration. During this time, he contributed to the aforementioned company’s growth by leveraging his expertise in sales and management.
Between 2005 and 2007, Mr. Bejcek worked at Lowe’s Home Improvement as both a cabinet specialist and in-store management. His responsibilities included customer service, product knowledge and team leadership. Prior to his tenure at Lowe’s, Mr. Bejcek gained experience with Home Depot in retail operations. From 1994 to 2002, he worked as plant manager at JMS Southeast, a private company specializing in temperature sensors distributed worldwide. His leadership contributed to the company’s expansion during this period.
Mr. Bejcek operated as a realtor and general contractor under Roger Bejcek Construction from 1977 to 1994. He managed residential real estate sales and home building projects until transitioning out of the business in 1994. Earlier in his career, Mr. Bejcek was active with Rubbermaid in Wooster, Ohio, from 1970 to 1973 before being promoted to a division in Statesville, North Carolina, from 1973 to 1977 where he was involved in product development. He began his professional journey at General Motors in Dayton, Ohio, from 1967 to 1970 after completing his undergraduate studies.
To support his professional ambitions, Mr. Bejcek initially pursued an education at Ohio Northern University, from which he earned a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering in 1967. He subsequently graduated with a Master of Business Administration from Gardner-Webb University in 2001. Mr. Bejcek’s academic achievements have been instrumental throughout his career transitions — from engineering roles into business development and ultimately into health coaching.
In addition to these degrees, Mr. Bejcek holds his certification as a L.E.A.N. health coach from the Dr. Sears Wellness Institute, obtained in 2014. He attributes much of his personal transformation to embracing lifestyle changes centered on exercise, attitude and nutrition — principles that now guide his coaching philosophy. After recognizing the importance of nutrition later in life, Mr. Bejcek adopted a plant-based diet that led to significant weight loss and improved well-being.
Civic engagement has been a consistent theme throughout Mr. Bejcek’s life. Since 2011, he has served on the Business Advisory Council for Goodwill Industries of Northwest North Carolina. He has likewise contributed as a volunteer with the Lutheran Church, participating on its council for 20 years, and supports organizations such as Christian Ministries and Crossroads Care Clinic’s Truth Girls Program. As president of the Home Builders Association, he demonstrated leadership within the construction industry while also volunteering with the Rotary Club and Ireland County Planning Board for eight years.
Mr. Bejcek’s creative endeavors include hosting the podcast “Ask Coach Roger,” which operates as an educational platform for healthy living strategies. His stellar efforts have been recognized through several honors, having been a four-time recipient of Builder of the Year and designated as a Paul Harris Fellow by Rotary International.
Looking toward the future, Mr. Bejcek aims to expand his franchise teams — Juice Plus+ Team and Team Eagle — by qualifying additional members under his leadership, thereby growing the organization’s reach and impact while maintaining consistency with his podcast efforts. He remains dedicated to making a positive difference in others’ lives through health education mentorship and community involvement while pursuing financial security through residual income generated by his business activities.
