Driven by her innovation, resilience, and commitment to mental health advocacy, she has found much success as the founder and owner of Park Avenue Mental Health Counseling PC, where she performs couples and individual counseling specializing in trauma and the survivors of rape, incest, and other serious traumatic incidents. Ms. Williams has provided compassionate support and advocacy to her patients, which is underscored by her advanced training and her certifications in complex trauma and post-traumatic stress disorder as well as in the Gottman Method couples therapy.
Prior to joining Park Avenue Mental Health Counseling, Ms. Williams worked as the chief executive officer of PTSDTherapy LLC from 2022 to 2024. She also served as chief operating officer and psychotherapist at Pretty Healthy Management LLC from 2019 to 2022, where she provided mental health counseling directly to patients while simultaneously managing organizational strategy. Also renowned for her significant achievements in the technology sector, she has excelled as president of Execusoft Consulting Services LLC in Dallas since 2014. As an executive leader, Ms. Williams oversees consulting initiatives that bridge the gap between technological solutions and the needs of small and mid-sized businesses.
Beyond her primary work in mental health care, Ms. Williams has been active as the founder and director of Collectronics Business Solutions in 2001. A defining milestone in her professional journey, she built the aforementioned company from the ground up after identifying an unmet need within the legal industry for automated account management solutions. Under her stellar leadership, Collectronics Business Solutions collaborated with law firms nationwide, from New York to Hawaii, providing innovative software that streamlined critical processes for attorneys.
Ms. Williams was previously appointed as a sales executive at Attenza.com Inc. from 2000 to 2001 and client relationship manager at Computer Associates Inc., one of the world’s largest software companies, from 1999 to 2000. At Computer Associates, she collaborated with Fortune 500 clients nationwide, generated new sales leads and regularly engaged with C-level executives, further honing her skills in client relations and enterprise solutions. Ms. Williams began her career as the director of marketing and public relations at Riddle & Williams P.C., where she gained foundational experience in legal services marketing, e-business strategies and public engagement.
To support her professional ambitions, Ms. Williams initially pursued an education at Louisiana State University, from which he earned a Bachelor of Arts in psychology with a minor in political science in 1990. She subsequently obtained a Master of Arts in counseling psychology at Columbia University in 2018. She ultimately concluded her studies at Columbia University in 2019, graduating with a Master of Education in mental health counseling. Ms. Williams’ educational achievements were supported by a full Board of Supervisors scholarship during college — a testament to her academic excellence.
To expand her network and stay aware of best counseling practices, Ms. Williams is an active member of professional organizations including the Women’s Mental Health Consortium, Psychology Today and the American Psychological Association. She continues to constantly hone her therapeutic skills by taking courses to stay up to date with the latest in mental health advocacy and innovative, custom treatments to meet each patient’s unique needs for support.
Demonstrating her commitment to community service across many causes, Ms. Williams engages in volunteer efforts with Ndoto for Africa’s Future — which provides educational opportunities and additional resources for children in Kenya — as well as the Good Dog Foundation, Dallas Fort Worth Metro Golden Retriever Rescue and The Marine Corps Law Enforcement Foundation. Significantly devoted to her family, she has been proudly married for more than 30 years.
Ms. Williams attributes much of her success to overcoming her own history of trauma as well as her unwavering dedication to helping others navigate their healing journeys. Her transition into technology was initially driven by financial necessity after graduation; however, it ultimately enabled her to develop innovative solutions that have had a lasting impact on both the legal and mental health fields.
Looking toward the future, Ms. Williams aims to expand her present practice further so that more victims of trauma can move beyond their past experiences. Her journey stands as a testament to perseverance, adaptability and an enduring passion for empowering others through both advocacy and compassionate care.
