Mr. McNeil, an established board-certified and licensed clinical counselor and life coach in New Mexico, is lauded for his success as the owner and chief executive officer of Coaches Korner LLC since 2004. Celebrating over 20 years in business, he provides expert counseling and life coaching services to individuals, couples and groups interested in fulfilling their personal and professional goals. As such, Mr. McNeil uses a holistic and systemic approach that integrates the latest research and insights from psychology, neuroscience, ecology and spirituality. In doing so, he aims to help clients develop the skills, mindset and habits to succeed. Sessions are anywhere from 45-60 minutes long and span six to 12 weeks based on progress.
Apart from his work at Coaches Korner LLC, Mr. McNeil is the co-creator of the Art of Self-Change podcast with Sherri Wilson. The two cover various topics, including mindset shifts, habit formation, emotional resilience, and the science behind making lasting changes.
In addition to his contributions as an experienced clinical professional, Mr. McNeil dedicated 30 years to performance fitness coaching and as the owner and chief instructor at Gallup School of Strength in Gallup, New Mexico. Before stepping into a civic role, he honorably served his country in the U.S. Air Force for 10 years.
Highly educated, Mr. McNeil attended the University of New Mexico, where he received a bachelor’s degree in organizational learning and instructional technologies in 1998. Subsequently, he garnered a master’s degree in counseling psychology from Southwestern College in Santa Fe in 2004. He is now pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in visionary practice and regenerative leadership on campus. Mr. McNeil is a board-certified licensed clinical counselor in New Mexico and a certified life coach.
In 2006, Mr. McNeil authored his first book, “The Language of Fruit.” Published via Outskirts Press, the 108-page groundbreaking book highlights the spiritual warrior’s journey into conscious love, personal responsibility, and authenticity of being while addressing the real and taboo work we often do to live the authentic and conscious lives we strive to live. Relying on his personal, professional and clinical experiences, Mr. McNeil seeks to encourage readers to be courageous as they step into a life of conscious authenticity.
When he is not busy with business-related matters, Mr. McNeil enjoys giving back his time by participating in pro bono work. He attributes his success to daily practices, such as journaling his goals, dream-building, and actively working toward achieving them.
Grateful for his many accomplishments, Mr. McNeil reflects on his many clients. Helping individuals get back on track and find their purpose has been extremely rewarding. As he looks forward to the future, Mr. McNeil is excited about various opportunities. In addition to completing his doctorate to further advance his career, he intends to write several more books based on his experiences. He also envisions developing a teaching center on his 20-acre property in the mountains of Northern New Mexico, where he can continue his good work and inspire many more individuals through his teachings in a group setting.
