Elvis Ndansi, Chief of Global Population Health at Carna Health, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Healthcare Professionals for dedication, achievements, and leadership in Health Care Administration.
Mr. Ndansi, an esteemed health care administrator, has been serving as the chief of global population health at Carna Health, a software development company in Boston, since 2024. The organization focuses on impacting chronic kidney disease through software and integrated point-of-care technology. Affiliated with the organization since 2023, Mr. Ndansi previously served as the senior vice president of global population health. Besides his contributions to Carna Health, he co-founded Reymans Mining Corporation in 2022, a critical minerals company based in New Jersey.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Ndansi worked as a country representative for Premier Medical Corporation Private Limited from 2010 to 2016. He also excelled as a research clinician at Columbia University in New York between 2020 and 2022.
Highly educated, Mr. Ndansi received a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in nursing at the University of Buea in 2006 and 2010, respectively. Subsequently, he received a Master of Public Health at Euclid University in 2020. Mr. Ndansi is now working toward an Executive Master of Business Administration at Harvard University and a Doctor of Public Health at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine in the U.K.
Mr. Ndansi has been devoted to various civic and nonprofit initiatives. He has served as the National Union for Democracy and Progress’s national youth president since 2006. The political party is based in Cameroon. He has also been the founder and chief executive officer of Unite for Health (U4H) since 2007. His remarkable contributions have saved numerous lives in Cameroon, and over 45,000 individuals have benefited from the nonprofit’s health care initiatives thus far. Among other initiatives, Mr. Ndansi has been the vice president of the men’s class at The Riverside Church since 2020, a community advisory board member for the New York University (NYU) Langone Health Vaccine Center COVID-19 vaccine research at the NYU Grossman School of Medicine since 2020, and a consultant for the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation since 2021. Earlier, Mr. Ndansi gave back as a volunteer for the Hope Solidarity Foundation’s community health outreach program from 2009 to 2011. He also served as a co-lead for Design Analyze and Communicate – Africa between 2023 and 2024.
A well-written writer, Mr. Ndansi published “The Hope In You: Using Hope To Power The Giant Within” in 2022. His second book, “Beyond Lens,” is due out in January 2025.
Since 2023, Mr. Ndansi has been recognized as an American Leadership Express Academy fellow. In recognition of his civic commitments, he was awarded the Best Nonprofit in Cameroon for U4H. He also received an American Express Academic Alumni Award and has been recognized as an Obama Scholar and a Mandela Washington Fellow for his outstanding contributions.
As he prepares for the future, Mr. Ndansi aims to continue developing his professional skills and expanding his network to positively impact more individuals in his home country and the U.S. His goal is to enhance his abilities and resources to assist individuals and communities in need locally and internationally. Mr. Ndansi attributes his good fortune to the values he gained as a child from his mother, a single parent who worked diligently to provide for him. Through her, he learned the importance of education, dedication and compassion.
