That same year, she graduated with a Master of Arts in religious studies. She credits her success to her strong support network of family and friends, her commitment to personal development, and her desire to contribute to others. Over the course of her 25-year career, she has endeavored to make meaningful differences in the lives of her clients and be a catalyst for positive change.

Ms. Smith is committed to being a guiding force for her clients. Whether dealing with mental health issues or substance use challenges, she aims to be a companion on her patient’s journey, offering support and guidance as they face the difficult challenges in their lives. In the coming years, she aims to reopen her clinical social work private practice in the hopes of addressing the heightened need for mental health care services. In addition, she plans to pursue certification as a spiritual director.
