His mission is to deliver high-quality general dentistry in a comfortable and affordable manner. His experience also includes serving as president of Gary Stewart DDS Inc. from 1996 to 2021, and he holds memberships with the Orange County Dental Society, Academy of General Dentistry, and American Academy of Implant Dentistry. Reflecting on his path, Dr. Stewart’s interest in medicine was inspired by his mother’s long career as a registered nurse. Although he admired the field, he was reluctant to become an medical doctor due to his desire to avoid the constraints of a large system. Instead, he chose dentistry, which he viewed as a more independent, “cottage industry.” He achieved a significant milestone by establishing and managing two general practices with two associate doctors, which allowed him to prioritize family time while excelling professionally. Additionally, he and a team embarked on a meaningful mission to the Dominican Republic, where they conducted general medical examinations and performed trachelectomy and adenoidectomy. These experiences were deeply fulfilling as they provided assistance in a less privileged country compared to some areas in the U.S.
Dr. Stewart attributes his success to his unwavering persistence. For 41 years, he dedicated himself to his work in dentistry, tackling each day’s challenges with steadfast determination. Despite setbacks, he remained committed to delivering his best effort in every task. In the coming years, he looks forward to expanding his travels, planning to explore Japan and China and visit significant Christian sites in Israel. Additionally, he and his team are organizing a return trip to the Dominican Republic with medical doctors for another valuable medical mission. When advising aspiring professionals, he emphasizes the importance of continually improving one’s education due to the rapid changes in the field, especially with new materials. Consistency is also crucial, as reliability ensures people know they can depend on you. In his personal time, he enjoys boating on lakes and rivers, playing pickleball, golfing, and spending time with his grandchildren.
