With a decade of experience, Ms. Henn has thrived as the compliance manager of Antelope Memorial Hospital since 2018. Previously, she was a nurse for the Critical Access Hospital from 2015 to 2018 and a nursing aide in 2002. Ms. Henn pursued a career in the medical field after growing up watching her mother work as a nurse. Her mother’s dedication to the field inspired her to go in the same direction. Once Ms. Henn found the right opportunity to showcase her capabilities, she gained recognition in the community and across the state. It is her determination to succeed and do good that has been instrumental in her successful career.
Before entering her profession, Ms. Henn earned an Associate’s Degree in Nursing from Central Community College in 2015. She then received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from New Hampshire University in 2020. Upon completion of her education, she became a registered nurse and licensed practical nurse. She also received a Certified Professional in Health Quality certification. As a testament to her success, Ms. Henn was named Notable New Nurse in 2017 and 40 under 40 by the Nebraska Nurses Association. She has been inducted as a member of the National Association for Healthcare Quality, Nebraska Nurses Association, and American Nurses Association.
Ms. Henn enjoys giving back to the community in her spare time. She spearheaded the Annual Pregnancy and Infant Loss Program at the Antelope Memorial Hospital in 2019. The program continues to this day. She also contributes to No Footprint Too Small, Connected Forever, and the Nebraska Community Action Research for Equity and Sustainability (Nebraska CARES). Looking toward the future, Ms. Henn would like to advance her career as a quality director and compliance manager. She enjoys the administrative aspect of her role and wants to be an integral part of the facility’s growth.
