Throughout her career, Ms. Muniz has held various roles in both clinical and managerial capacities, including being a clinician at Wayside Youth and Family Support Network and a psychologist at Climai and Psychology Clinic Lugar Seguro. Notably, she co-founded Embrace Pathways Internacional and currently serves as its director of the psychological immigration evaluation department, assisting Brazilians living in the U.S. A highlight of her career is her work in the immigration evaluation department, where she finds fulfillment in helping individuals navigate the complexities of immigration and mental health.
Looking ahead, Ms. Muniz envisions herself transitioning into the teaching field, writing a book about her experiences, and hosting a TV show to advocate for important causes. She attributes her success to her authenticity and ability to channel her emotions into constructive endeavors, whether it is educating her team or advocating for her family. Fluent in Portuguese, Spanish, and English, she is also studying Mandarin and is committed to expanding her linguistic abilities to serve her community better.
