Ms. Binder excelled in her role as the clinical manager at LTF Eye Clinic before retiring after 12 years. She previously found success as a public school nurse for 15 years and spent time as an oncology nurse. Her outstanding work achievements culminated in being featured in Millennium Magazine as well as being presented with a faculty recognition award and a student recognition award. She also participates as a member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society for Nursing and the Society of Ophthalmic Registered Nurses.
Attributing her success to a God-given passion for helping people, Ms. Binder utilized this enthusiasm by graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Indiana University Northwest in 1985. She is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Nursing from Purdue University to become a nurse practitioner with a specialty in working with individuals diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease. Ms. Binder chose this specialization after her diagnosis with the disease; however, after receiving successful treatments, she wants to offer her expertise to others.
