Lee Ann Randall Sheggeby, RN, CCM, Retired Registered Nurse, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Health Care Professionals for dedication, achievements, and leadership.
Now retired, Ms. Sheggeby led an esteemed career as a registered nurse. She concluded her career as a registered nurse and senior health and disability coordinator with Chevron Corporate Medical from 1993 to 1999. Prior to this role, she worked for the Metropolitan Life Insurance Company for three years and worked on the medical-surgical and orthopedic floor of the Mayo Clinic Hospital’s Methodist Campus.
Ms. Sheggeby began her career with the clinic of Dr. Shambers in Parkers Prairie, Minnesota, after which she garnered experience in obstetrics and delivery at Our Lady of Mercy in Alexandria, Minnesota. She contributed to nursing homes in South Dakota and Austin, Minnesota, and served on the medical floor at the VA Medical Center – Sioux Falls. In preparation for her career, Ms. Sheggeby attended the Fairview Hospital School of Nursing and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in nursing in 1961.
Eminently qualified, Ms. Sheggeby is a Certified Audiologist and Certified X-Ray Technician. She holds further credentials in disability case management and is a former member of both the American Red Cross and the American Diabetes Association. Alongside these affiliations, Ms. Sheggeby maintains membership to multiple nurses’ associations.
Ms. Sheggeby attributes her success to carrying God with her throughout her life. She always wanted to be a nurse as she had an innate interest in medicine, and she is proud of her accomplishments and wealth of experience in health care. In the future, Ms. Sheggeby hopes to give back as a consultant, counselor, or patient advocate. In her spare time, she enjoys reading and decorating.
