Another highlight was being one of the first registered nurses to conduct electrophysiology in southwest Oklahoma. Her expertise led her and another nurse to be selected by a physician to start a Comanche County Memorial Hospital program.
In the next few years, Ms. Brown wants to become a lead review nurse and expand her skillset. She also hopes to make systemic changes in the nursing field. As a testament to her success, Ms. Brown was inducted as a member of the American Association of Owners Consultants. Ms. Brown’s professional career is important to her because she enjoys helping others. She formerly volunteered as a minimum data set coordinator working on minimum data set assessments, processes, and documentation for three facilities. She also enjoys the outdoors, shadowboxing, kickboxing, drawing, and spending time with her family.
