Amanda Sherrill Al-Sawai, Founder at Better Hope Therapy Services, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Healthcare Professionals for dedication, achievements, and leadership in therapy services.
With more than 20 years of experience to her credit, Ms. Al-Sawai has excelled as the managing partner and founder of Better Hope Therapy Services LLC since 2020 and the chief executive officer for Managed Care Practice Solutions LLC since 2015. Prior to these positions, she was active as a managed care consultant with the IMS Medical Group in 2015, a provider relations representative with Global TPA from 2009 to 2015 and a medical administrative support representative with Clinicare Medical Resources from 2007 to 2009. She previously served as a bookkeeper with TampaMaid Foods Inc. from 2006 to 2007, an accounting clerk with The Hiller Group Inc. from 2005 to 2006 and a promotions manager with McNatts Cleaner from 2004 to 2005. Ms. Al-Sawai began her career as the general manager for Caverne Direct Imports from 2001 to 2003.
To support her professional ambitions, Ms. Al-Sawai earned her certification as a nursing assistant in 2009. Currently pursuing her bachelor’s degree, she is additionally obtaining her certifications as a professional coder and a project management professional. She was drawn to her present post after her son was diagnosed with autism, as she faced great difficulty in connecting him to occupational therapy services in their rural area. Attributing her success to her motivation to provide children with access to helpful and necessary services, Ms. Al-Sawai hopes to continue building Better Hope Therapy Services into a national autism services organization that can offer speech therapy, ADA therapy and occupational therapy services while working alongside universities and career service centers so that they may recruit the next generation of therapists in their field.
