Subsequently serving as a yoga instructor and healer at Eisenhower Center, she was formerly active as a yoga and meditation instructor and an energy healer with Caring Alternatives from 2014 to 2015, an assistant for the Toledo City Paper with Adams Street Publishing from 2010 to 2016, a social media assistant for Adams Street Publishing from 2011 to 2016, a yoga instructor, healer and reader with Lite the Way from 2005 to 2021 and a mental health counselor with Creative Counseling Choices. As a testament to her impressive accomplishments, Ms. Mistry was recognized as a Master Artist by the Robert S. Duncanson Society in 2022.
To support her professional endeavors, Ms. Mistry pursued an education at Grand Canyon University, from which she earned a Bachelor of Arts in counseling with an emphasis on addictions and substance abuse, summa cum laude, in 2017. She later concluded her studies at Eastern Michigan University in 2020, from which she graduated with a Master of Arts in clinical mental health counseling, summa cum laude. Beyond her primary responsibilities within the field, she has dedicated her time to her written works, authoring such works as “Forgotten Souls,” “My Gypsy Soul” and “Galisteo Nights” for the ASA Publishing Company in 2016, 2021 and 2022, respectively. Attributing her success to her ability to connect with people as well as her drive and her life experiences, Ms. Mistry hopes to build a group practice in the coming years.
