Since 2021, Mr. Pierce has excelled as a clinical supervisor with the Columbia County Mental Health Center. He was a counselor with the center for five years prior to his current role. In preparation for his career, he graduated from Washington State University with a Bachelor of Science in psychology in 1999. In 2014, he earned a master’s degree in psychology from the University of Phoenix. As a certified Qualified Mental Health Professional, Mr. Pierce plans to obtain a doctorate in psychology in the coming years.

Prior to his work as a mental health professional, Mr. Pierce was a mailman for more than 20 years. From 1990 to 2020, he served with the U.S. Army, for which he received an Armed Forces Medal, Joint Meritorious Service Medal and Army Commendation Medal. In his spare time, Mr. Pierce enjoys karaoke, bowling and working out.
