Lucas Queen, Executive Compliance and Chief Security Officer of Evergreen Life Services and Licensed Clinical Supervisor of Health Connect America Inc., has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Health Care Professionals for dedication, achievements, and leadership in clinical mental health counseling.
An accomplished healthcare professional with over 35 years of experience, Mr. Queen has excelled as the executive compliance and chief security officer with Evergreen Life Services since 2015. Since 2013, he has served as a licensed clinical supervisor with Health Connect America Inc., and since 1994, he has been a professor with the PTS Seminary. Mr. Queen began his career with Evergreen Life Services in 1985 and has worked with Volunteer Behavioral Health, Camelot Care Mental Health Services, the Cumberland Hall Psychiatric Hospital and the Youth Recovery Court in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Since 2020, he has been the vice chair of the board for The Pursuit of Happiness, and since 2017, he has served as a council member of the Statewide Technology Advisory Council for the Department of Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities.
Eminently qualified and committed to lifelong learning, Mr. Queen began his education at Tomlinson College, earning an Associate of Arts in psychology and religious studies in 1984. He continued his studies at Lee University, graduating in 1987 with a Bachelor of Arts in psychology and religious studies. In 1991, he obtained a Master of Divinity in mental health counseling from the Church of God School of Theology, and in 1993, he graduated from the Columbia Theological Seminary with a Doctor of Ministry in mental health counseling/intellectual and developmental disabilities. Mr. Queen later attended the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, obtaining a Master of Education in educational psychology/community counseling in 1996. In 2012, he earned a Master of Business Administration in health care administration from Keiser University, and in 2021, he graduated from the Taft University Law School with a Doctor of Jurisprudence, cum laude, in health law and advocacy.
Mr. Queen holds numerous professional certifications in addition to his formal degrees. He is a National Certified Gerontological Counselor, a National Certified Counselor and a Master Addiction Counselor with the National Board of Certified Counselors. Additionally, he is a Licensed Mental Health Service Provider in the state of Tennessee. To keep abreast of his field, Mr. Queen maintains affiliation with the Health Care Compliance Association, the International Association for Counseling, the National Association for Alcohol and Drug Addiction Counseling, and the Tennessee Mental Health Counselors Association. In the next five years, he hopes to write a book about complex post-traumatic stress disorder.
