In preparation for her career, Dr. Schiebert attended Holy Names University and earned a bachelor’s degree in history and political science in 1968. She later graduated from the institution with a Master of Arts in comparative religions in 1996. In 2003, Dr. Schiebert concluded her higher education at John F. Kennedy University with a Doctor of Psychology. Alongside her formal degrees, she is a Certified Trauma Professional through the International Trauma Professionals Association. She is also licensed to practice in California and Colorado

Dr. Schiebert has found success through her written work, authoring “Let’s Make a Contract: Getting Your Teen Past the Opioid Epidemic” in 2019. She has also published more books in the series, including “Let’s Make a Contract: Getting Your Teen Through Substance Abuse” and “Let’s Make a Contract: Getting Yourself Through Unhappy Romantic Relationships” in 2018, and “Let’s Make a Contract: Getting Your Teen Through High School and Beyond” in 2017. In her spare time, Dr. Schiebert enjoys working out in her swimming pool, spending time with her cats and sending boxes of treats to U.S. Navy troops in Japan.
