With over three decades of experience to her credit, Ms. Clisbee is a proven expert in the health care industry. Specializing in criminal justice and self-defense, she currently serves as a licensed home health aide with the ASAP Nursing and Staffing Agency, having joined the organization in 2016. Prior to her current appointment, she operated as an office manager, program director and senior instructor at Tokyo Joe’s Studio of Self Defense in Nashua, New Hampshire, from 1999 to 2008. Well-versed in engineering as well, she also previously operated as a group lead at Texas Instruments Incorporated between 1998 and 2000 and as a semiconductor water fabricator for Analog Devices Inc. between 1996 and 1998. Ms. Clisbee originally began her career in 1986, working as an assistant manager for Dunkin Donuts and The J.M. Smucker Company until 1992.
As part of her vocational journey, Ms. Clisbee pursued a formal education, earning several degrees over the course of her collegiate studies. To wit, she received both a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Arts in criminal justice and behavioral science from Purdue University in 2017 and 2019, respectively, and a Master of Arts in criminal justice philosophy from Walden University in 2021. She is currently pursuing a doctoral degree at Walden University. Ms. Clisbee also remains affiliated with several industry-related organizations, including California Women Lead, The World Martial Arts Federation, and the Theta Epsilon chapter of Alpha Sigma Phi Fraternity. Well regarded for her accomplishments in the field, she was inducted into the Women’s League in 2022 and into The World Martial Arts Federation Hall of Fame as the Female Martial Artist of the Year in 2007. Ms. Clisbee was largely inspired to pursue a career in criminal justice following the events of 9/11, and she attributes much of her success to the love and support of her daughter.
