Deborah M. Rosenquist, DM Self-Management Program Director and Clinical Dietitian with Cornerstone Health Care, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Health Care Professionals for dedication, achievements, and leadership in nutrition.
Certified in diabetic education and gerontology, Ms. Rosenquist has found success since 2008 with Cornerstone Health Care, where she works as a clinical dietitian and the director of the DM Self-Management Program. Prior to these posts, she garnered experience as a certified diabetic educator and program coordinator for medical nutrition therapy with Wake Forest Baptist Health for 15 years. In addition, Ms. Rosenquist boasts more than 30 years of experience as a consultant dietitian with River Landing at Sandy Ridge, a Continuing Care Retirement Community.
Ms. Rosenquist has also shared her expertise as a branch manager with the Gluten Intolerance Group. In preparation for her career endeavors, she studied home economics and composite science, earning a bachelor’s degree. She concluded her higher education in 1982, graduating from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro with a Master of Education in food service management and nutrition. For her career accomplishments, Ms. Rosenquist was nominated for Dietitian of the Year in North Carolina.
To keep abreast of developments in her field, Ms. Rosenquist has been a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and Delta Kappa Gamma, the latter of which she served as president for two years. In her spare time, she enjoys spinning wool and has been a member of the North American BABYDOLL Southdown Sheep Association and Registry. Ms. Rosenquist attributes her success to the inspiration and example her mother provided her and to her mentors in the field of dietetics.
