Since 2015, Ms. Wesolowski has found success as a service supervisor and crisis manager with Care Hawaii Inc., an organization committed to providing outpatient mental health services to Hawaii’s children, adolescents, and adults. The organization seeks to empower clients and their families to manage and overcome their mental health struggles to live more fulfilling lives. In addition to this post, Ms. Wesolowski was a mental health specialist with Premier Medical Group Hawaii from 2020 to 2021 and previously held multiple roles with Care Hawaii Inc., including substance abuse counselor, behavior health technician, and team lead manager. She additionally works at the local Hilo IHOP, where she receives satisfaction in helping customers encounter cheerful interactions and experiences while eating. Ms. Wesolowski further shares her knowledge as a mental health and motivational speaker.
Graduating from high school in Prescott, Arizona at the age of 16, Ms. Wesolowski enrolled in the Scottsdale Culinary Institute to complete coursework in hospitality management before a personal family matter shifted her attention toward healthcare. She subsequently pursued an education at the University of Phoenix, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in psychology in 2015 before returning to complete a Master of Science in clinical counseling and mental health services in 2021. After completing her internships to acquire her full counseling license in the state of Hawaii, she has been pursuing a doctorate in healthcare administration and business management at the same institution. Ms. Wesolowski also holds numerous professional certifications, including a certificate in COVID-19 contact tracing from Johns Hopkins University, a certification in advanced leadership, a certification in executive leadership, and a certification in the foundation of leadership. She is a licensed practical nurse, certified nursing assistant, and registered behavioral technician.
Heavily involved in her field, Ms. Wesolowski serves as the vice president of membership for the National Society of Leadership and Success Chapter at the University of Phoenix, a post she has held since 2022. Previously, she was the director of membership outreach with the same institution from 2021 to 2022. Since 2015, she has been a member of both the American Psychological Association and the American Counseling Association. Ms. Wesolowski attributes her success to her determination as well as her family, including her dedicated and supportive husband, her four wonderful children and her late, great parents, who inspired her to build a better world for future generations. In the coming years, she hopes to create a crisis shelter for individuals with special needs in Hawaii and pursue a position as a professor of psychology, counseling, and health care after she retires from her current endeavors.
