Ms. Williams has excelled in the medical field for over a decade. She provided superior care as a medical assistant with IU Health Ball Memorial Physicians Liberty Corner in 2012, with the Jean L. Roberts Family Practice and Obstetric Care, LLC from 2012 to 2014 and with Abundant Health Family Medicine in Muncie, Indiana from 2014 to 2018. Ms. Williams obtained a Bachelor of Science in biology and pre-medical science in 2016 from Indiana Wesleyan University in Marion, Indiana, where she also served as a teaching assistant and research fellow.
Since 2017, Ms. Williams has found much success as a laboratory specialist, medical laboratory technician and medical laboratory scientist with Community Hospital Anderson, a premier medical center in Anderson, Indiana, in which she works in hematology, chemistry, microbiology, molecular biology, blood coagulation and serology portions of the laboratory, and performs testing on all laboratory specimens that the medical center receives such as blood, urine and other body fluids. Ms. Williams attributes her success to hard work and the support of her family and friends, and as a career highlight cites receiving the Great Cast Awards from the Community Hospital Anderson, an award given to a professional who catches mistakes that were made before they affected patients. In the coming years, Ms. Williams is interested in pursuing a master’s degree to become a CLS program director so that she can aid in the career advancement of other medical technologists.
