Following obtaining a bachelor’s degree in hospitality management from the University of Central Florida in Orange County, Florida in 1997, Ms. Burdiles later continued her education with a master’s degree in Hospitality Management from Cornell University in Ithaca, New York in 2018. She is a certified master chef (CMC) by Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts-Miami, a certified dietary manager and a certified food protection professional. Ms. Burdiles has found much success since 2007 as executive chef and owner of Burdiles Catering Services in Miami; director of Excellence Catering of Dade in Doral, Florida from 2017 to 2020; food and beverage manager with Nuvo Suites Hotel in Doral in 2020; food and beverage manager with  the Postcard Inn Beach Resort at Holiday Isle from 2020 to 2021; and hospitality and restaurant consultant with A&J Global Hospitality Consultants from 2020 to the present.

Since 2022, Ms. Burdiles has provided superior service as a certified dietary manager with Avante Group Inc., a premier organization in Orlando, Florida specializing in skilled nursing, assisted living, rehabilitation, and post-acute services. There, she is responsible for the compete food production, purchasing, checking and ordering inventory, organizing her cycling menus, coordinating with therapists and dietitians and doing follow-ups for food and equipment, making sure that they are compliant with each regulation by the Health Department and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). As a career highlight, Ms. Burdiles cites her balance between making customers happy and helping her team accomplish their goals individually and as a team. In the coming years, her goal is to become a corporate certified dietary manager (CDM).
