After providing superior care as a licensed vocational nurse with Long Beach Memorial Hospital in 1972, Mr. Nolasco prospered as a medical researcher affiliated with the American Federation for Medical Research with John F. Kennedy Memorial Hospital, Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, where he was named to the Circle of Friends Honor Roll, and subsequently Clinical Medical and Educational Services Pharmaceutical Care. In addition, he obtained a Bachelor of Science in nursing from Chapman University in Orange, California in 1980.
Mr. Nolasco became involved in his profession from his desire to assist geriatric patients. As a career highlight, Mr. Nolasco mentions working with Dr. Mervin Amistad, who assigned him to manage the hospital pharmacy after he finished his LVN and nursing degree. Following his work at the pharmacy, he became the manager of the research department. In the coming years, Mr. Nolasco is hoping for continued success and career growth at Clinical Medical and Educational Services and to attain a management position.
