Its online marketplace connects a community of pharmacies, hospitals, and sites of care directly to available treatments from pharmaceutical manufacturers. Their scope of services include custom storefronts for drug companies, streamlined procurement access for pharmacies, live customer care, dedicated account support, consolidated invoicing, payment processing, shipment tracking, and drug shortage alerts. The company’s mission is for every healthcare professional to have the best medication access for their patients, at the best price.
After obtaining a bachelor’s degree in finance and entrepreneurship from the Florida State University College of Business in Tallahassee, Mr. Powers continued his education with a Master of Business Administration in 2011 from the Crummer Graduate School of Business at Rollins College.
Mr. Powers prospered as vice president of marketing from 2011 to 2013 and chief operating officer from 2013 to 2015 with a national home infusion & compounding pharmacy. He then served as principal of B3 Precision Medical Technologies, LLC in Jacksonville, Florida from 2015 to 2021, while consulting with other start-up companies.
As a career highlight, Mr. Powers is most proud of co-founding a startup tech company with his Father that has forged strategic alliances with major healthcare institutions and pharmaceutical manufacturers that continues to drive meaningful change in the pharmaceutical supply chain. He is passionate about designing intuitive software and applying it to solving real problems for the pharmaceutical industry. In the coming years, he predicts to see his free-market sourcing solution become a key resource for the majority of hospitals and pharmacies seeking better procurement resiliency across the country.
